Sharon Mansfield is a British Second Unit Director whose career has been built at the heart of scripted film and television. After beginning in video production before completing the JOBFIT (Joint Board for Film Industry Training) scheme, she spent more than three decades as a Script Supervisor, becoming one of the industry's most experienced specialists in second unit drama. Having worked alongside some of the world's leading directors on major feature films and high-end television, Sharon developed a reputation for meticulous preparation, editorial instinct and a collaborative approach to filmmaking. Her experience spans productions including the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts franchises, James Bond, Star Wars, Marvel and Bridgerton. In recent years Sharon has made the natural progression into directing, serving as Second Unit Director on the feature film Brighton and all eight episodes of Bridgerton Season 2. She brings a unique perspective to directing, combining decades of experience in story, continuity and visual storytelling with a strong belief that preparation gives creative teams the freedom to do their best work. Sharon's ambition is to continue building her directing career in high-end television drama and film, leading productions that place story, character and collaboration at their heart.
