Leo Benvenuti

Leo Benevuti was born on October 10, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois. He met his colleague, Steve Rudnick, in 1978 while studying with Josephine Forsberg at The Players Workshop of Second City. They performed a late night variety show titled "The Steve and Leo Show" twelve years later. They are best known as screenwriters for Disney's 1994 Christmas film The Santa Clause (1994) as well as the Warner Brothers 1996 live action-animated basketball science fiction hybrid film Space Jam (1996).
