Karima Guennouni

Karima Guennouni was born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco. After studying psychology in the United States for two years, she pursued her passion for cinema at ESRA film school in Nice. During her five years in France, Karima gained her first professional experiences in the film industry. In 2011, she returned to Morocco and has since worked as an Assistant Director on multiple international productions.

Karima's short film "Junkyard" received production funding from the CCM (Moroccan Centre for Cinematography) and was selected for over thirty film festivals worldwide. "Little Big Brother," her debut feature film, is a natural extension of "Junkyard," bringing back its sibling duo in a new, heartfelt story.
