Jonathan Southard grew up as a child actor in New York City, attended the Dwight School in Manhattan, where he fondly remembers a more "Scorsese-Like NYC" , and won honors both academically and theatrically at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. After over 20 years as an actor, Jonathan moved into film production in 1987, becoming a full-time First Assistant Director in 1994. To date, he has delivered over 90 feature films and hundreds of commercials, promos and other short-form products. Moving into the Director's chair, Jonathan directed High Expectations, a feature drama set in the world of championship soccer in the fall of 2020. Next up will be directing and producing Boundary Lines, a period drama set in the 1980's, about a man returning to his small southern hometown after 23 years in prison in search of his long lost daughter. He just celebrated his 12th anniversary with Prime Time Emmy winner Wendy Southard (Hairstyling FEUD: Bette and Joan), living happily in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles.
