Jen Willis

Jen Willis developed an early interest in filmmaking, often creating short projects with friends. She began her filmmaking career after working as an extra on a production in her hometown, where she discovered a passion for life behind the camera. After graduating from Southern Illinois University’s Cinema and Photography program, she moved to Los Angeles and interned with the American Film Institute’s Directors Workshop for Women, contributing to Sean Heder’s short film Mother. Jen later joined the Directors Guild and relocated to Atlanta. She has since worked bi-coastal on major studio features and high-profile television, including Thunder Force, Unstoppable, Spirited, Praise This, Lanterns, AJ and the Queen, and P-Valley. Jen continues to build toward her goal of directing.
