Alexander J. Baxter is the Founder and CEO of The Constellate Company, a visionary creative enterprise spanning independent genre film/TV and immersive live entertainment. As the architect behind both Constellate Films Inc. and the darkly imaginative Dread Worlds: Realm of Horror in Langley, BC, Baxter is redefining the intersection of cinematic storytelling and experiential design.
At the helm of Constellate Films Inc., Baxter leads with a bold creative mandate-developing original, genre-rich stories across horror, dark fantasy, drama, documentary, and science fiction. The company's breakout film Jikirag established a signature approach to mythic storytelling and handcrafted world-building, setting the tone for a growing slate of elevated genre features. Under Baxter's leadership, Constellate has become a collaborative engine for artists and filmmakers, grounded in a "entertainment family" ethos that prioritizes respect, innovation, and creative freedom.
Through The Constellate Company's immersive division, Baxter brings audiences face-to-face with fear and fantasy via Dread Worlds: Realm of Horror-a cinematic amusement park experience that fuses live performance, interactive storytelling, and next-gen haunted attractions.
Trained in acting and directing at Capilano University, the Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts, and Deb Podowski's Studio, Baxter's career began with roles in series like DC's Legends of Tomorrow and The Man in the High Castle. These early experiences shaped his cinematic instincts, now applied at scale across both screen and immersive platforms.
Baxter's entrepreneurial and creative philosophy is rooted in authenticity, inclusivity, and world-class artistry. His guiding principle-"We are in this together"-serves as both a leadership ethos and a design philosophy, shaping every guest interaction and creative collaboration.
As The Constellate Company expands its reach across mediums and markets, Alexander J. Baxter continues to pioneer a future where storytelling doesn't just entertain-it transports, transforms, and unites.
