Mikhael Filip Bassilli is a Los Angeles-born filmmaker, screenwriter, and executive recognized for pioneering the integration of artificial intelligence into storytelling and film development. As the CEO and founder of Scriptmatix, an AI-driven screenplay development and filmmaking platform, Bassilli has positioned himself at the intersection of creativity and technology, empowering storytellers to bring cinematic visions to life through AI systems.
Before launching Scriptmatix, Bassilli built a reputation in Hollywood as a sought-after ghostwriter, story consultant, and screenplay architect, known for his ability to dissect and reconstruct narrative structures. His approach evolved and carried into tech where he integrated a character-centric philosophy, creative experimentation, and systematic narrative design to build a structured process to help screenwriters and filmmakers craft stories that are both artistically/emotionally resonant and technologically empowered.
Through Scriptmatix, Bassilli continues to develop tools and frameworks designed to reshape how stories are created, analyzed, and produced, bridging the gap between human imagination and machine intelligence. His work represents a new chapter in filmmaking, one where technology enhances creativity rather than replacing it.
