Michael Wright

Michael is a UK based writer-director - producer with over thirty years experience in the industry, ranging from award-winning commercials to corporate films and feature films. Features, include period crime thriller 'The Undertaker' (2023) starring Paul McGann, Tara Fitzgerald and Murray Melvin.

With a wealth of experience in live-action and effects and Michael has previously directed TV commercials and content films at Aardman, Rhythm and Hues and Partizan. Michael has also been a Media Consultant to the United Nations Environmental Project UNEP.

Michael is a multi industry award winner, including Cannes Silver Lions, several D&AD awards, Epica, British Television Awards and was the only European film maker shortlisted for the prestigious Akira Kurosawa Award in Japan in 2010 for his short Dark Side
