Lance McDaniel is CEO of McDaniel Entertainment. He has written 60 screenplays, worked on 21 feature films, including Oscar-winner Million Dollar Baby, and directed five feature films, seven short films, three virtual reality films, two documentaries, and two television specials. He has written a weekly film column for the OKC Friday Newspaper since 2011. And he is the former Executive Director of the deadCenter Film Festival, Oklahoma’s largest and only Oscar qualifying film festival, which was named Oklahoma’s Best Arts & Cultural Nonprofit under his leadership from 2010 to 2020.
Lance holds an undergraduate degree from Stanford University, where he served as Senior Class President, and a master’s degree from Oklahoma City University, where he serves as a trustee and adjunct film professor.
