E.J. An

E.J. An is a first-generation Korean-American actor who grew up in Alaska and trained in Theatre at Barnard College, Columbia University. Early in her career, she was personally encouraged by the late Olympia Dukakis, who recognized her raw talent and urged her to pursue acting professionally.

E.J. has since appeared in network television (FBI: Most Wanted, New Amsterdam, Long Bright River) and Off-Broadway theatre, building a reputation for playing sharp, independently-spirited women with raw emotional depth, biting dark humor and offbeat charm. Her film credits include Who We Are Now (TIFF premiere) and The Last Piece (Trailblazer Award, Crystal Ship Fest).

With a sharp command of legal and medical jargon, and a background in boxing and stage combat, she seamlessly bridges the cerebral and the physical - delivering performances that are as intellectually grounded as they are viscerally charged.
