Creativity manifests in multiple arenas for Devon Ross. As a noted actress and musician, she channels vintage spirit spiked with modern attitude.
As an actor, in 2022, she starred in the HBO and A24 limited series Irma Vep to critical acclaim, alongside Academy® Award winner Alicia Vikander, Adria Arjona and Carrie Brownstein, with Deadline and ELLE Magazine (US) touting her as a "one to watch." Her upcoming film projects include: My First Film, Depravity , the directorial debut of The Fighter and The Finest Hours screenwriter Paul Tamasy and the WW2 Female Revenge feature VINDICTA of which Ross she plays the lead.
In addition to her acting projects, Devon partnered with legendary iconic musician Thurston Moore to release her debut EP Oxford Gardens via The Daydream Library Series, the record label of Ecstatic Peace Library operated by Thurston & Eva Moore. Recorded in Paris and mixed & mastered at London's iconic Abbey Road Studios, Oxford Gardens is a knotty 4 song set that harkens back to the early New York punk scene and draws inspiration from sixties and seventies legends such as The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Patti Smith, Bob Dylan, and The Band. The EP debuted to widespread critical acclaim in February 2024.
Devon began her career as a model and was quickly cited as "the coolest model currently climbing up the ranks" by British Vogue. She fronted high-profile campaigns for the world's most influential fashion houses, including Gucci, Valentino, Vivienne Westwood and Mulberry.
In 2024, Nicolas Ghesquière selected her to become and ambassador and a friend of the House of Louis Vuitton. No matter what she does, Devon exudes laidback confidence, quiet magnetism, and dynamic talent. Born in Toronto, Devon grew up between The Bahamas, Woodstock, and Los Angeles. Despite "changing schools constantly," music, fashion, and art remained constants in her life.
In the end, Devon embodies authenticity with every endeavor, first and foremost. "In music, acting, and fashion, I gravitate towards authenticity," she leaves off. "That's what I want to share. Being myself is the most important thing to me."
