Lived in North Africa till age of 5, educated at the International School in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Active member of Cambridge University drama scene. Approached by talent scout whilst playing Cleopatra open air at age 19 - but turned them down to complete her degree.

Offered "Midnights Children" (RSC) Tour two months out of RADA, but turned it down to avoid being pigeon-holed.

Producer of own theatre company - Cheeky Maggot Theatre - and published poet for Arrival Press and Pyramid Press.
